Decorations
Betta's are an easy fish to please.
A few plants in a sandy saturate will suffice. Do not clutter the tank. A few decorations here and there are sufficient.
Feeding
If at all possible feed your Betta live food - Daphnia, brine shrimp. Good quality fish flakes as an alternative.
Tank mates
Male Bettas can not be kept in the same tank. However multiple females can depending on their temperaments.
Male bettas should not be kept with other fish that have similar body types and long fins, as they could mistake them for rivals.
